Official Rules & Regulations

1. Sponsor
This giveaway (the “Contest”) is sponsored by Tacofino (the “Sponsor”), in collaboration with Harbour Air Seaplanes and Hotel Zed (collectively, the “Partners”).

This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Squarespace.

2. Contest Period
The Contest begins on April 27, 2026 at 9:00 AM PST and ends on May 3, 2026 at 11:59 PM PST (the “Contest Period”).

Entries submitted outside of this period will not be eligible.

3. Eligibility
The Contest is open to legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec), who are 19 years of age or older at the time of entry.

Employees of Tacofino, Harbour Air, Hotel Zed, and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, and their immediate family members or persons living in the same household are not eligible to enter.

4. No Purchase Necessary
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

5. How to Enter

Standard Entry (1 entry):
To receive one (1) entry:

• Follow @tacofinolovesyou, @harbourair, and @hotelzed on Instagram

• Tag your friends in the comments

Bonus Entry (10 entries):
Participants may receive ten (10) additional entries by completing all steps:

• Commenting ‘Tofino’ on the Instagram Giveaway Post

• Clicking the link provided via Instagram Direct Message after commenting

• Submitting their email address through the official Tacofino giveaway landing page (this page)

• Providing express consent to receive marketing communications from Tacofino, Harbour Air, and Hotel Zed

Limit of one (1) bonus entry per person.

Alternate Method of Entry (No Purchase / No Subscription Required):
To enter without subscribing to marketing communications, participants may send an email to socialmedia@tacofino.com during the Contest Period including:

• Full name

• Phone number

• Email address

• A written statement confirming they wish to enter the Tacofino Giveaway but not sign up for email marketing

Alternate entries will receive one (1) entry and are limited to one entry per person and email.

6. Prize
One (1) winner will receive a Tofino getaway package for two (2), including:

• Round-trip airfare for two (2) guests with Harbour Air, valid on Vancouver-Tofino, float operations, and Richmond - Tofino (YVR south/YAZ) wheeled operations.

  • Approximate value: $1,400 CAD

  • Voucher valid for one (1) year from date of issue (expires May 3, 2027)

• A two (2) night stay at Hotel Zed Tofino

  • Approximate value: $649 CAD

  • Valid for one (1) year from date of issue (expires May 3, 2027)

  • Blackout dates include July, August, and statutory long weekends. Additional blackout dates may apply.

• One (1) $300 Tacofino gift card, redeemable at any Tacofino location, no expiry date.

Total approximate prize value: up to $2,500 CAD

The prize must be accepted as awarded and is non-transferable, non-refundable, and not redeemable for cash. Travel and hotel bookings are subject to availability and applicable blackout dates.

7. Winner Selection
One (1) winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries on or around May 4, 2026.

The selected entrant will be contacted via Instagram Direct Message from @TacofinoLovesYou and/or email from socialmedia@tacofino.com - based on their method of entry.

To be declared the winner, the selected entrant must:

• Respond within 72 hours of notification

• Correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question (required by Canadian law)

If the selected entrant does not respond in time or answers incorrectly, another entrant may be selected.

8. Odds of Winning
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.

9. Publicity Release
By entering the Contest, the winner agrees to allow Tacofino and its Partners to use their name, Instagram handle, email address, and submitted content for promotional purposes, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. You can opt-out anytime from email marketing.

10. General Conditions
The Sponsor reserves the right to:

• Cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest at any time

• Disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or violates these rules

• Verify all entries and entrant information

Incomplete, fraudulent, or duplicate entries may be disqualified.

11. Limitation of Liability
The Sponsor and Partners are not responsible for:

• Lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries

• Technical failures of any kind

• Any injury, loss, or damage resulting from participation in the Contest or acceptance of the prize

12. Privacy & Consent
By submitting their information, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal information by Tacofino for the purpose of administering this Contest.

Participants who expressly opt in to receive marketing communications agree to receive emails and/or SMS messages from Tacofino and, where applicable, participating Partners. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with Tacofino’s privacy policy and applicable Canadian privacy laws.

13. Governing Law
The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws of Canada and is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia.

14. Full Rules
By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters related to this Contest.
